The golf was outstanding in hot, windy conditions on Sunday at the Heritage Golf and Country Club Championships. The competition was impressive, and the golf was remarkable – particularly from our two young female players, Jazy Roberts and Olivia Lewis.
Both young women played each of the 34 holes with style, talent and skill beyond their years. It was a fantastic match ending. Results for the pair were square after the first 18 and their focus was intense as they moved into the second 18. Olivia was a formidable opponent, but the trophy was confirmed on the 34th hole and Jazy won 3/2.
It was great to see so many spectators. Members milled along the course as each pair finished and celebrations continued in the Club House as trophies were awarded.
