Temporary Local Rules have been updated as of 5th March 2021.
There are 2 changes:
Preferred lie relief in bunkers is now within a hand-span. It is NO LONGER a club-length.
Large sanded areas on the fairway, that is larger than a hand-span, are to be treated as GUR and players MUST take relief from these areas. This is where the areas have been sanded as part of course works such as drainage or top dressing. It does not include repaired divots. This change is important as Henley currently has several sanded areas on the fairways.
